Alright, so if you're reading my post, you have to answer at least the first of these 2 questions:

1. I'm in this business program where 20 business students actually run a business on campus.  That would be great.....if we actually had a product.   We're in the planning stage and we're trying to think of a product or a service.  So..... does anyone have a good college piece of merchandise idea or a service idea (like a shuttle to classes)?

2. You know your a xanga freak when........

Thursday, September 01, 2005

Well I'm finally moved back in and I feel a little bit more settled.  It's stressful moving in because you know that you always have something else to do.  But it's over fortunately.  Oh, and I made it up here safetly.  I wasn't tired one bit throughout the whole trip.  That alone was a blessing from God.  But, I did have a little car trouble.  You see, I ran over one of those big tractor-trailor tire pieces (there was no way aound it) and after I did that, I smelled this awful smell that seriously smelled like crap.  Well, I called my dad and he said that it could be my muffler had a whole in it.  I don't know but I never did take it in and I think it's fine now.

I'm doing inturmural volleyball this semester with the greatest team on campus.  I think our names are dig 'em or dig this or somethin like that.  Nonetheless, I'm pretty excited about.  Lets just hope I don't injure anyones face this time, right Emily?

A sophmore ROTC student died on Saturday, Derek Stevenson.  He ran into a tree somehow.  They said that he died immediately on scene.  I didn't know him but I'm still praying for his family.

Alright, I'm going to go to oeprations analysis now.  Miserable is all I've got to say.  Later.

welp, it's come.  right now it's 5 oclock in the morning and I'm leaving to drive to Cedarville.  Kinda sceptical I'll be honest, because I'm driving alone.  Pray for me.  C-ya later Lakeland friends.  Pick it right back up where we left it next summer.

Welp, tomorrow I'm going to cocoa for a few days with some friends but first I have to finish matt and Kelly's dang gift!  I stayed up all night last night working on it and I got a 1 hour nap, so I was exhausted today.  I'm hopefully going to get a little more sleep tonight.

I just found out that this is going to be a crazy season for hurricanes.  I think 6 of the 9 predicted hurricanes are suppose to be category 3 or higher.  Brace yourselves Floridians.  I'm kinda bummed cause I won't be able to be here for them unless they happen within the next 2 weeks.  Ah well.

Oh, by the way, I've got to figure out how to put music and pictures on my xanga.  I love the sites that have them. I need help my xanga nuts.

I've just realized this week that my prayers are starting to get monotonous, so if any of you guys have anything that I can pray for, just send it my way cause I'd love to pray for you.  You can give it to me through xanga or you can send it to my email address which is p1216040@cedarville.edu

Enjoy life my readers.

Alright, here's an update on my crazy life, my readers, with points and subpoints:

-First of all, CAMP IS DONE!  I am gonna miss it though.

*I made 11 different kinds of cheesecake on my last days of cooking for camp.  I think they loved it and even if they didn't, I did.

*Altogether, working in the kitchen was tough emotionally (I know, sappy huh) but it was great for my growth spiritually.

-Right after camp, we flew up to my grandparents house in Corning NY.  They have no computer and they only have 2 stations on there TV, so it was great for me to get a lot of progress done on my gift for matt and Kelly's wedding.

-After G-pa and G-ma's, we picked up my dad from the airport and drove to Syracuse to begin.... the wedding.

*Alright, for those of you unexperienced, being the best man isn't all it's cracked up to be.  There are a lot of responsibilities.  You've got the Bachelor's party to plan, the ring to hold during the wedding, the toast to give, the groom to keep calm, the tuxes to drop off, and because I was the brother, I wanted to do some sort of prank on Matt. It's a crazy job to say the least but I was honored that he asked me.

*Well, being in a city that I had no clue what was hip and what was not, I was clueless as to what to do for the bachelor's party, but fortunately, it eventually came together about 5 minutes before we left for it, and what happened the rest of the night is undisclosed information.

*So about my toast, I was so busy working on matt and kelly's gift (I can't say what it is yet because I haven't given it to them yet), that I didn't have much time to write.  Well I finished it the morning of the wedding and when I actually got around to giving it, I didn't say half of what I wanted to, but I think it came out alright.

*Oh, the wedding was beautiful and all, and it was my job to keep the groom calm.  Well I did up until we walked out on stage, and I started to tear up.  Well thats not the worst of it.  I was the first to see matt and kelly after to wedding and when I gave matt a hug I started seriously crying.  I felt foolish cause this was a wedding, not a funeral.  And the worse part of all was that the photographer saw me and stated snapping shots left and right.  Ah well.  He's my bro right, I have the right to so that.

*The reception was so much fun.  They had dancing and this was the first time certain members of my family had over been to a dance, and I think they left with a better impression of it than before.  Frankly, we all just had a blast looking dumb dancing and not caring what anyone thought.

*On Matt and Kelly's flight out the next morning, my uncle and cousins were on there flight.  We thought that was rather hilarious.  All in all, it was a great wedding and I'm excited that I have a new sister in the family.

-Now, for the rest of the summer, I'm fre to chill.  I think I'm going to go down to cocoa for a few days next week with some of my friends so that'll be cool.  And it's free!  Even better.

Cedarville, c-ya soon,  until then.....
